Greetings!
Message from Karen Lawler, Nominating Committee Chair
And the votes are in !
The Board and I are very pleased to announce our New Board Members who will take office June 2008.
And congratulations to CTHIMA! We had an over 18% turnout for voting. While this may sound low, the National average is just 10%.
Our new Board Members are:
President Elect Linda McKone, RHIT
1st year Directors Nelly Ayala - McCrory, RHIT
Jeanne d'Arc St. Pierre, MS, RHIA
I also wish to personally thank and acknowledge Emily Macko, Jan Dombek , Penny Deotte, and Jeanne who helped our efforts to get the vote out. Many of you may remember Nelly who was at one time in the capacity of coordinator for CHIMA. Welcome back! And a very special note to Jeanne, who accepted my challenge to run. We are grateful to have your knowledge and expertise as we continue to navigate the tricky Healthcare waters.
And no moss gross under Linda's feet, as you know Linda planned our very first Hill Day presence on Friday, April 11th, with plans for a full out Hill Day next year.
I join Marty Cohen and our current board members in welcoming all and looking forward to another energy filled year.
Karen Lawler, MPS, RHIA
