Dear Fellows:Kay H. Hodge

I am so pleased to report that The Fellows organization is on track for another record-breaking year of fundraising! To all of you who have made a contribution this year, a resounding "Thank you," and to those who have not yet done so, please show your ongoing support of the ABF's research work by making an online donation today.

Please watch your mailbox for an invitation to Fellows events at the 2011 ABA Annual Meeting in Toronto. In the meantime, you may wish to visit our website to view a full schedule of events or to register online.

One of our featured events at this year's Annual Meeting will be Friday's complimentary CLE session, "Access Across America: First Report of the Civil Justice Infrastructure Mapping Project," featuring a research presentation by the ABF's Rebecca Sandefur. The following morning, at our Fellows Annual Business Breakfast, we will hear from John Hagan on the topic of "The Displaced and Dispossessed of Darfur."

From all of the Fellows officers and staff, we hope you are enjoying your summer. If you have any questions about upcoming events, Fellows initiatives, or how to make your 2011 contribution, please contact us anytime at fellows@abfn.org or (800) 292-5065.

Sincerely,

Center on Law and Globalization
In April 2011, the Center on Law and Globalization convened the Second Hague Colloquium on
Systematic Sexual Violence and Victims' Rights.
Participation by academics, local and international activists, specialists in compensation for victims,
nonprofit leaders and international lawyers and court officials made this a truly cross-disciplinary dialog.
All agreed that research is fundamental to predicting
the onset of sexual violence, mapping its scope, demonstrating its long-term harms, and evaluating the effectiveness of post-conflict interventions.

The Center is a joint program of the American Bar Foundation and the University of Illinois College of Law.
