The 2010 Fellows Awards will be presented in Orlando, Florida on
February 6, 2010. The Fellows are currently accepting nominations
for the 2010 Outstanding Service and Outstanding Scholar Awards.
The deadline for nomination submissions is October 14, 2009.

Summer Research Diversity Fellowships
The American Bar Foundation was delighted to welcome this year's
recipients of the Summer Research Diversity Fellowships in Law and Social Science. Chosen from a competitive nationwide pool,
the four undergraduate students spent the summer assisting
ABF research faculty with complex sociolegal research projects.

The Summer Diversity Fellowship Program is designed to introduce
undergraduates from diverse backgrounds to the rewards and
demands of a research-oriented career in the fields of law and
social science.

Third Annual Washington Fellows Dinner
More than sixty Fellows were in attendance for the third
Annual Washington Fellows Dinner in Seattle on October 1.
Hosted by Washington Fellows State Chairs Benes Aldana,
Peter Ehrlichman and Kathleen Hopkins, the event featured
remarks from Life Fellow Bill Gates, Sr., Co-Chair of the
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and author of the recently published
book Showing Up for Life: Thoughts on the Gifts of a Lifetime.
