Colorado Fellows Annual Dinner

The Colorado Fellows of the
American Bar Foundation
gathered on June 5 for an
evening of fun and conviviality.
The Denver Law Club
presented their musical
"Ethics Revue 2008-09."

The event was hosted by
Colorado State Chair The Hon. Frederic. B. Rodgers.

First Annual Maryland Fellows
Reception on May 6 at the
Law Offices of Venable LLP
in Baltimore.

The program featured a trubute honoring M. Peter Moser and an address by Aris Melissaratos, Senior Advisor for Enterprise Development at The Johns Hopkins University and former Secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development.

Center on Law and Globalization

The Center on Law and Globalization convened an international conference, Sexual Violence as International Crime, June 16-18
at The Hague in the Netherlands. The conference featured Center Co-Directors John Hagan, Ph.D., ABF Research Professor and recipient of the 2009 Stockholm Prize in Criminology, and Charlotte Ku, Ph.D., of the University of Illinois College of Law.

The conference's keynote address was delivered jointly by U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navanethem Pillay and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor, Luis Moreno- Ocampo.
