    The American Bar Foundation was delighted to welcome this year's recipients of the Summer Research Diversity Fellowships in Law and Social Science: (from left) Marcus Allen, Montgomery Summer Research Fellow; Akta Jantrania, Summerfield Summer Research Fellow; Anayansi Rodriguez, Seyfarth Shaw Summer Research Fellow; and Francesca Gibson, Kirkland & Ellis Summer Research Fellow. Chosen from a competitive nationwide pool, the four undergraduate students spent the summer assisting ABF research faculty in the design and implementation of complex sociolegal research projects.
    The Summer Diversity Fellowship Program, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is designed to introduce undergraduates from diverse backgrounds to the rewards and demands of a research-oriented career in the fields of law and social science. Announcing the Launch of the
Center on Law and Globalization
The Center on Law and Globalization is a joint venture of the University of Illinois College of Law and the American Bar Foundation. The Center brings together leaders of international organizations, journalists, and legal scholars to understand the legal dimensions of key global issues, to stimulate exchanges on how these issues are addressed, and to advance research and conclusions on major topics in global debates.
