of awesome fun at Vacation Bible School!
Lend a Hand to Ranch
Camp We are looking for middle school and high
school youth to be "Ranch Hands" during the week. They assist with all parts of the
program. In addition, the congregation
is asked to consider the following ways to contribute:
host a Luther Park staff member, help plan
and serve the Thursday 'Round-Up' meal, be the adult on duty, assist in the art
room, help with registration Monday morning, provide an evening meal for the
Luther Park staff, help set up and decorate the fellowship hall (Saturday),
help with our pre-school, donate a snack, kitchen help serving the snacks.
Please
sign up on
the Youth and Family Bulletin Board if you are able to help.
VBS
Ranch Camp postcards are
available for sharing! Please take as
many as you would like and give them to your relatives, friends, neighbors and
co-workers. This is low risk, high
reward Evangelism!
Peace

When
Lutherans see that
times are tough, they respond in creative ways.
This month's Metro Lutheran includes
many stories about groups responding to social needs. But it also highlights the Association of
Development Executives, a group that raises money to ensure that these needs
are met over long term. Pick up a copy
at the Information Center.
The
state of Minnesota
predicts that Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) grant money will be
available for customers through July 2.
Applications will be accepted until the close of business on July 2,
2009. Please visit CenterPointEnergy.com/paybill
