As Christians, a foundation of our life with God is prayer. Jesus emphasized the importance of communication with our Father by His own example and by teaching His disciples how to pray. This summer at Peace Lutheran we will look more closely at the Lord's Prayer, which Jesus shared with His followers. "Lord, Teach Us to Pray: Six Studies on Spirituality and the Lord's Prayer" will be offered on Wednesday mornings at 6:30-7:45 am and 9-10:30 am, beginning June 10 and continuing through July 22. The cost is $12.00. Look for registration information today in the narthex.

The Plymouth Rockers Senior Chorus will hold its spring concert on Sunday, May 31, at 3:00 p.m., at the Oak Knoll Lutheran Church.  There are 70 members in the chorus which is open to singers age 55 and over.

The senior chorus will be joined by another adult chorus of 20 members, all ages, "Choral Reflections of Minnetonka."  Both groups are directed by David Halligan of Minnetonka.  The theme of the concert is "Melodies for Everyone, An Afternoon Affair."  For more information, call 952-401-5954. Oak Knoll Lutheran Church is located at 600 Hopkins Crossroad in Minnetonka (North of 394 on 73).
