Sunday! The Annual Meeting of January 25 will reconvene this morning following the 8:30 service, in the Fellowship Hall.

Easter Brunch Fundraiser-Join us for a delicious buffet meal on Easter morning.  On our menu will be scrambled eggs, hash browns, smoked bacon, carved ham and sweet rolls.  There will be a pancake and waffle station with fresh fruit and juice, milk and coffee will be served.  The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 years and under. Tickets are available today, after each worship service.  Breakfast will be served from 9:00 to 10:30 on April 12.

Spring Plant Sale!  Order your annual plants, tomatoes, perennials and more from Gregor Farm and Garden. Gift cards are also available.  Pick up order forms in the church office.

The next Youth Mission Trip meeting will be Sunday, March 22, at 11:45 am.  We'll eat lunch together.  Bring $4.00 for lunch.

Midweek Lenten Worship A story of the Savior and His passion from Jesus of Nazareth (a film by Franco Ziffirelli) will be shown during worship 6:45 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  This week's segment is "The Crucifixion."

Daytime Lenten Worship-you are invited to join the morning Lenten worship services this year.  Services are held on Wednesdays 10:30 to 11:00 am, following the same themes as in the 6:45 evening service. A time of coffee fellowship will follow the worship service.

There will be a rehearsal for the Adult Handbell choir on Wednesday, March 25, at 6:00 pm.

In two weeks:  Come to the Easter Fair! On Sunday, April 5, during the Sunday School hour, join us for music, a children's message, and a craft project as we celebrate the real meaning of Easter.  We'll have an egg hunt and other games, too. Come, and join the fun!

Altar Flowers are given in honor of Adam & Weston's 18th birthday on March 8, from their family.

Remember your donations for the 2009 Minnesota FoodShare campaign (see the March issue of Peace Notes for the details).  Bring your donations to the big blue tub.

Start saving your items to donate to the Rummage Sale at the end of April.  We will not be accepting adult clothing this year, but will accept children's clothes up to size 12.

Lutherans are well-known internationally for a commitment to working in mission fields from China to Tanzania.  In this month's Metro Lutheran, read the story of these continued ministries by Lutheran World Relief, China Service Ventures, and Operation Bootstrap Africa in light of the economic stresses confronting society.  Copies of the March issue are available in the church office.
