Sunday at Together In Faith, the Kindergartners, First graders and their parents, will conclude their class on "The Lord's Prayer." Meet in the Activity Room at 9:35 am.

At Adult Forum:  Informational Meeting on the WordAlone network.  Meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9:35 a.m.

Church Directory Update!  Please stay a few minutes to update your photograph for the 2009 directory. Donna Daubendiek (and her camera) will be available following each worship service today. We especially encourage families who haven't had a new photo recently.

The Sledding at Hamel Hill has been cancelled.  An alternate activity will be announced.

Sign up today!  The OWLS will be going to Chanhassen on Thursday, February 19, to volunteer at the 'Feed My Starving Children' organization. Meet at Peace at 8:45am to carpool.  Also plan on going to Houlihan's restaurant in Chanhassen for lunch after our session.  Sign up on the bulletin board in the narthex. All Older, Wiser, Lutheran Seniors are welcome!

The deadline for the March Peace Notes is today, February 15. Email peace@peaceofplymouth.org to submit an article or announcement.

The church office will be closed at Noon on Monday, as work begins on floors for new tile.

Next week at Adult Forum:  Mike Mostrom speaks on the Dependable Strengths workshop.

Next week at Together In Faith:  First Communion Instruction.  Parents and children spend time in conversation as well as watch a video.  Children who are in the 3rd - 5th grades are invited to attend.  If you feel your child is ready for communion, please talk to Pastor Jeff.

Start collecting your items to donate to the 2009 Peace Lutheran Rummage Sale!  The sale will be held the last week of April into May.  Donations will be received in late April.

Community Breakfast: Remember how good those waffles and sausage were at last year's IOCP benefit? This year the same treat will be held today, until 1pm. Purchase your advance tickets in the narthex for $6.00 (they're $7. at the door).  Your participation will enable Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners to continue providing food, housing and other services to area families who are in need.  The breakfast is held at the Wayzata American Legion, 949 E Wayzata Blvd.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for Families Moving Forward will be held on Saturday, February 21, from 8am to 10am.  Proceeds raised will go directly to help families in the emergency shelter pay damage deposits on their new apartments, so they can move into their homes. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee - all for only $5 per person!  Invite your friends and join the volunteers of Families Moving Forward at the Applebee's Neighborhood Grill located at 14400 Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove.
