During Education Hour- Join the discussion of the proposed 2009 Budget with Lance Novak and members of the Congregation council. You may pick up your copy of the Annual Report to the congregation, located in the narthex. Meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45 a.m.
Participate in the heart of your congregation at the Annual Meeting that will be held Sunday, January 25, at 9:45 a.m. Among the agenda items will be the election of the 2009 Congregation Council and the approval of the annual budget.
Financial Giving Statements for 2008 have been prepared and are ready to be picked up. You will find them in alphabetical order at the Information Center.

You are welcome to join us for our Wednesday night Bible Study on the Gospel of Mark at 6:30 PM. The first session was well-attended last week, but we have more books available. The study includes daily readings and devotions on the entire Gospel. Weekly discussion takes place around tables in the Fireside Room, and is led by Pastor Sedlins.
The Hand Bell Choirs will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, January 21. The High School bell choir rehearses at 6:00 p.m. and the adult hand bell choir will rehearse at 7:00 p.m.
Daily Devotional booklets are available for January, February and March of 2009. Our resources include The Word in Season and Christ in Our Home (large print copies available). Davey and Goliath's Devotions for families on the go! are still available at the Information Center.Each week has four pages of fun-filled Bible-based activities. Did you get your copy of Metro Lutheran this month? Copies are still available. Lutheran high schools, and now even middle schools, are trying innovative approaches to give education a more "hands on" approach.
