A Christmas Prayer...
All-powerful and unseen God, the coming of your light into our world has brightened weary hearts with peace. Call us out of darkness, and empower us to proclaim the birth of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Volunteer Opportunities
Looking to share your talents at Peace? Join the Evangelism committee. Contact Jim Broge.
Please help keep our plants alive! Needed: Plant Waterers. We are now setting up the 2009 schedule to water the indoor plants. We would like 6-8 volunteers to rotate once a week. The watering takes about 15 minutes. Sign-up on the Volunteer bulletin board or talk to Nancy Broge.
We are also looking for members to help on the Peace Nursery committee. This only takes a few hours every quarter to help take care of our nursery and coordinate volunteers for church services. Please contact Natalie Nantke or Jeannice Reding if you are interested in being involved. Or, if you would like to care for our young ones in the nursery, we can always use more help. A good opportunity for Confirmands or older youth seeking volunteer hours. |
