Luther Park Camping and Retreat Center
, where many of our children have attended in the summers, and whose counselors have led our VBS, is appealing to its member churches to help keep it operational.  The offerings for today's Christmas Festival will go to help support Luther Park.  We also welcome any gifts you could give today or by year's end.  Make checks payable to Peace Lutheran, and designate them "Luther Park Camp."

The newsletter deadline
for the January Peace Notes is Monday, December 15.

There will be no rehearsal
for the Hallelujah Chorus or Cherub Choir on Weds., December 17.

"Let the little children come unto me."
Help our littlest Sunday School children learn about Jesus-team teach every other week during January through the second week in May.  Please see Carol Forsberg if you are interested.

Please consider a wonderful
volunteer opportunity.  Marian Olson is stepping down as the Peace coordinator for the Meals on Wheels program, so we need to fill her shoes.  The December Peace Notes has the details, or talk to Deb Weir, Pam Jette, or Carolyn Stark.

Looking to share your talents
at Peace? Join the Evangelism committee. Contact Jim Broge.

December Need-Of-The-Month
This month we are collecting items Midge Shaw will bring to the Dominican Republic on her mission trip in January.  The list of items can be found in the December issue of Peace Notes, and also by the Dominican display in the narthex.

Please help keep our plants alive!
Needed: Plant Waterers.  We are now setting up the 2009 schedule to water the indoor church plants.  We would like 6-8 volunteers who will rotate on a weekly basis.  The watering takes about 15 minutes.  Sign-up on the Volunteer bulletin board or talk to Nancy Broge.  If we have eight volunteers, you would water six times a year.
