Today is our stewardship ingathering Sunday.  At each worship service we will invite you to come forward with your pledge of involvement in our ministries at Peace, your pledge of time and talent, and your pledge of offerings for 2009.  Today's offering may also be brought up, as well as the children's pledge card received in Sunday School last Sunday.  Thank you for your generous offerings to God's work among us through his church.

At Together In Faith:  The second and third graders and parents continue their class entitled, "It's Not Fair!" This class meets with Grace Tauring in the Activity Room at 9:35 a.m.

Today at 10:45, we BaptizeLucas Paul Bacon, son of Paul and Sara Bacon.  Lucas' baptismal sponsors are Andrew Bacon and Matt and Cathy Kohnen.

A church event for all ages!  Help keep some people warm during the winter.  Please come to the fellowship hall, today from 9:30 - 10:30, to make fleece hats and scarves. All items made will be donated to the Marie Sandvik Center in Minneapolis.  No experience is needed.

Remember the mitten tree?  You may also bring hats, mittens or scarves, store bought and hand made.  This collection will also benefit the Marie Sandvik Center.

Join the Quilters for quilt tying on Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 9-11:30 a.m. All are welcome!

The Knitting Group also meets on Tuesday, at 10 o'clock a.m.  If you enjoy embroidery, crochet or needlepoint, you are welcome to come.  Join this group around the round tables in the narthex for a morning of sharing projects and fellowship!

Thanksgiving Worship - Wednesday, November 26, at 7:00 p.m.  As Christians, we again gather on the eve of Thanksgiving Day to worship God and consider all for which we are thankful.  Come; join us for dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Confirmation class, High School Oasis and Adult study will not be held.  Children's choirs will meet and Senior Choir will rehearse for one-half hour following the worship service.

The church office will be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.  The bulletin deadline for this week is Tuesday, November 25, at noon.

The altar bouquets are given today by Dwayne and Cathy Noren, in celebration of their 35th wedding anniversary. And, Chris and Jack Bacon celebrate the Baptism of Lucas Bacon.

Next Week at Adult Forum  Plan to join the study series for Advent:  Handel's Messiah.  We will be looking at Part I:  The Birth, and the theology within the score.  We will listen to portions of this music, as well.  Come join us and get into the spirit of Christmas.  Meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45 a.m., immediately after the Sunday School opening music.

The Social Action Committee has posted on the bulletin board a new request from Thrivent Financial.  All monetary donations to our local food shelf (IOCP) that are made in November will be matched.  For every $3.00 we donate, they will donate $1.00.  Check it out!
