Today at Adult Forum:  Roundtable discussion and study on the lessons for today.  Join us in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 9:45 AM.

A Theatre Troupe is being formed.  You can attend a short informational meeting today, November 9, following the first service.  If you have questions or want to be involved, but can't attend the meeting, call Hope Murray at (612) 240-1735.

The Older, Wiser, Lutheran Seniors will visit the Minnesota History Center on Weds, November 12.  The unusual exhibit, "Vatican Splendors" is on display, and we'll tour from 10 until 11:30 a.m.  The cost is only $15. and the cost of your lunch.  The Minnesota Sesquicentennial display may also be viewed. Meet at the church at 9 o'clock in the morning to carpool to the center.  Sign up at church today, or call Luther and Ilene Forde.

Come and Learn!  Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training on Wednesday, November 12, at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of this session is to establish a comfort factor with the machine, to be prepared in case of emergency.  The AED is safe and easy to use and when turned on, will instruct the user what to do!  No previous medical training is required.  Our hope is to have a number of people familiar with the AED so to respond appropriately.  Please consider serving!  We'll meet in the Fellowship Hall.

YOUTH EVENTS THIS WEEK:  The High School students will participate in the IOCP Sleep-Out for homelessness.  Meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. on Sat, November 15.  We begin the evening at the community kick-off in Wayzata.  Following that, we will set up tents and cardboard boxes by the fire ring and spend the night outdoors.  Dress warm for the weather and bring a thick sleeping bag and pillow.  Adults are invited to attend this, as well (and needed!).

A collection will be gathered to benefit the IOCP Sleep-Out 2008 following today's service, as well as next week's services.  Look for the high school youth standing by the doors.

Middle School Bowlingat Medina Lanes, Sunday, November 16 at Noon.  We'll stop at McDonald's for lunch on our way to the bowling alley.  The cost is $7, plus bring money for your lunch.  Sign up on the bulletin board in the front hallway.  Adult helpers appreciated!

It's Newsletter time again!  If you have announcements for the December issue of Peace Notes, the deadline is Saturday, November 15.  Email peace@peaceofplymouth.org

Next week at Together In Faith:  The second and third graders and their parents are invited to their class entitled, "It's Not Fair!"  This class will meet November 16 and 23 at 9:35 a.m. in the Activity Room with Grace Tauring.

Metro Lutheran has arrived. As we prepare to celebrate Veteran's Day 2008, find out about a new effort to welcome home the returning veterans by ensuring they get a proper re-integration into the community including their congregations.  Pick up a copy at the Information Center.
