Faith-based films face insurmountable obstacles such as a small talent pool, very little funding, virtually no scripts to choose from, and an agenda that doesn't fit the standard Hollywood model. But it is a still very young industry that is rapidly growing and changing.

Two Faith-Based Period Pieces worth seeing
I was delighted to see two faith-based films that pulled off stories set in the past. In costume, set, and dialogue, these films did not break the threshold of believability or setting. Neither main character resolves his problems quickly or easily.

I laughed, I cried... it moved me, Bob.
Rogue Saints held the biggest number of laughs I've had at a movie in at least the last two years, and Reconciliation does the unthinkable by addressing a conflict that neither Hollywood nor faith-based films want to touch.
