Chimpanzee
An Orphan's Tale Darrel Manson
The Disneynature brand has created a tradition of coming out with a new film each year at Earth Day. This year's offering is Chimpanzee. It would not be much of a jump to compare the struggle of these jungle primates to control their own territory and food supply with our own efforts at security in a world of finite resources.

Airs Sunday, April 22 at 7 and 9 PM on GMC.

Although I haven't been a big fan of recent episodes, I thought that they had some good ones three years ago. Sean and I loved the episode where they went to Disney World. But it seems that fans and critics have all agreed that their humor has been lacking of late. I have a few criticisms myself, like how they're more into "gross out" humor rather than a witty zinger... |
