So... one thing you may not know about "Your Movie Friend" is that I'm a softy. If you make an attempt to touch me, you might just succeed. And this is an interesting story. And yes, it's true, it did make me cry.

We love the Acadamey Awards and make a point to watch it every year. In fact, we think that they should do Oscar screenings at restaurants, just like they do at sports bars! That would be so much fun!

Extreme Couponing, Revisited Sarah Brock
A few weeks ago I defended Extreme Couponing and said that the show inspired me to get into couponing. Well, even though that's true, I want to backtrack some. I found out a few things that I want to talk about. It appears as though there has been some coupon fraud on the show. Now, that doesn't go for every person, but it looks like it has happened. I was very disappointed when I heard this. But like I said, this doesn't go for every person on the show. Also, the CIC (Coupon Information Corporation) has been very disappointed with the show. They say that they've tried to work with TLC to make it more educational, but that hasn't happened. They also say that going through recycle bins and dumpsters can be illegal if on private property... |
