   Young Adult
How Not To Grow Up Elisabeth Leitch
In a way, Young Adult is about growing up (shown mostly through Mavis's epic failure to do so). And what is most noticeable about Mavis' immature, irresponsible, self-centered lifestyle is the amount of denial and number lies it takes to uphold it.

Dice      I love it when a comedy tries to transcend the genre and do something a little more... but you have to earn those moments of emotion. Watching Jonah Hill babysit three kids just doesn't cut the mustard.

   War Horse
A Talk with Kennedy and Spielberg Paula Parker
"It's better for me to come to the set with an open mind and an open heart," says Spielberg, "than to come to the set with everything figured out like I just built the iPad and I had test-marketed it and I know it's going to work."

   Joyful Noise Greg Wright
Yes... this is basically a promotional piece.  But the cause is worthy!
Part of the campaign for this upcoming Dolly Parton / Queen Latifah vehicle (Jan. 13) is the first ever National Choir Appreciation Sunday, slated for January 6.  As a former choir participant and director myself, I'm totally on board with promoting a day of thanks for hard-working volunteers who bring such joy and vibrancy to our churches.
"Growing up in the south," ways Parton, "the choir was an essential and favorite part of my church-going experience. In fact, our choir was one of the main influencers that led me into the music business."

To learn more about National Choir Appreciation Sunday, please visit www.choirappreciationsunday.com.   And like NCAS on Facebook! There's a great contest you can sign up for there, as well.

Hilary Duff: Untalented Buffoon? Sarah Brock

Hilary Duff has been one of my favorite actresses since I was sixteen. Some people have said some mean things about her, like how she can't act. I disagree. I believe that she did some movies that were considered "safe" because she didn't want to abandon her younger audience. The thing is, she can act. Watch According to Greta, you'll see what I'm talking about.   Another thing that people have said is that she's squeaky clean.
  Am I missing something here?
