There is a key scene in which Marie is given an audience with the Queen Mother, an avid astrologist, and she notes that Marie is torn between two planets, Saturn and Venus... which represented the powers of reason and passion.

Now on Blu-ray. The Blu-ray's retrospective pieces, not just running out the special features from twenty years ago, allow us to see that the people involved deeply cared about what happened, that this work really was a work of art.
