 The King James Bible
Get On Board Our Special Coverage Mark Sommer | 04/10/11 | Comment Here When I learned that there was an opportunity to review the new King James Bible documentary, KJB: The Book that Changed the World, I wasn't sure if I had the time to do anything with it. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized what an opportunity this was, and that I needed to make time for it.
May 2 marks the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, a book which narrator John Rhys-Davies tells us has had a profound influence on everyone one of us, whether we have read it or not! Even with the abundance of modern translations, the King James Bible has done more to shape our culture's view of God and Christianity than any other. As we approach this historic anniversary, and as we celebrate the Easter season, Hollywood Jesus is launching a new Feature Category about the King James Bible, and our readers can be a part of it. We are asking that you consider contributing an article about how the KJB has had an impact on your life. This could be anything from a "personal testimony" to a more elaborate analysis. If you plan to participate, please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you... and check back at our KJB@400 page for full coverage over the next few weeks! |

TRON: Legacy
Do You Fight For The Losers? Ed Travis
Now on Blu-ray. TRON: Legacy deals, at its core, with such issues as perfection versus flawed humanity, the created rebelling against their creator, and the ever-decreasing differences between the human mind and the mind of a computer.
