What Could be Better in the Fall?
Yo, Playbox Editor

This is undoubtedly my favorite time of year.

I just love the prep time for the holidays, the cooler weather and shorter days, which makes for a great excuse to get cozy in pjs, sip hot chocolate, cuddle with a loved one and dismember Storm Troopers or shoot remarkably similar looking bad guys with a wide variety of highly explosive weapons.

Yes, this is the best time of the year, and a busy one for gamers everywhere. New releases come fast and furious during this run-up time to Christmas, and here at HJ we'll do our best to keep up....

The Meh Is Strong With This One
Unleashing Truth On An Unexpecting World
Yo | 11/02/10 | Click to Comment

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was the fastest selling Star Wars game in history. So obviously, despite the mediocre reviews and the fact that the main character heroically sacrificed himself for the good of the fledgling Rebellion in a very final manner, there had to be a sequel.

I wasn't opposed to this in principle. The gameplay had a lot of potential to it despite being repetitive, and the story was easily one of the best Star Wars stories told in recent years... prequel films included.

That's why it saddens me to say that Force Unleashed II doesn't do much to improve on the previous game and there really wasn't any realistic way for it to live up to the story telling excellence from the first game.

Still there are some fun moments...

What Woudl Tebow Do?

Each week we'll sim Denver's game with the slight modification of having Tim under center. Can virtual Tebow lead the Broncos to more victories than the real team? Would having him quarterback really make a difference? Let's find out, shall we?

Just an FYI, all of our games will have me playing as the Broncos, which means my choices, which aren't necessarily the same one's an actual coach or player would make, sort of skew the results; so take all of this with a grain of salt. Also, I'll play all games on the All-Pro setting with five minute quarters and using (for the most part) the GameFlow and GamePlanning features of this year's Madden.

Finally, for the preseason games, I'll start with Orton in the first half and sub in Tebow in the second half, just for the sake of comparison both in the game and with what
happens on the field. It should be an interesting journey, so, are you ready for some football?

WWTD: Week 9
Oakland VS. KC

The Broncos have a bye this week, so instead we turn our attention to a bizarre situation: a Chiefs/Raiders game that actually means something.
