International Milling Directory
Newsletter - April 2012
|
Dear Valued Subscriber
As you receive this e-Newsletter, we are in the production of the International Milling Directory 2012/13. There are many companies who have added themselves to our list. Please don't miss this opportunity this year if you have not already listed yours! If you are listed before mid-May your listing is not only appearing on our online version and in our PPLAPP (Perendale Publishers Limited web Application - see below), but it will appear in our printed version too which will be circulated to more than 5000 key industry leaders around the world.
In the PPLAPP you can see the preferred events we are supporting in the Events Register. If you are exhibiting any one of these your company's name will appear on the 'Companies Attending from IMD' list if you are listed in IMD. This will bring your potential client to look at your website, making appointments with you via email or telephone call or knowing you are there to visit. If in the Event Register your preferred event is not listed please let me know and we will consider relevancy of the event and publish them.
If you would like to make sure your advertisement is included in our printed version, please get in touch with our sales team - Darren, Lee or Alex. With Perendale your advertisement is more than just an ad.
Mobile App demo version If you have not seen our new IMD application for mobile phones yet, why not try our new online demo - straight in your web browser. We have even given you a 'virtual' iphone to test it on! The demo will give you an idea of what the app does and why any industry professional should have the entire IMD (and more) in their pocket. - View the demoThe application is free, and can be installed on your mobile by visiting http://mobile.internationalmilling.com on your smart phone or tablet. |

Time to renew your listing
The print edition of the IMD will be underway soon - make sure your listing is up-to-date and active to ensure that you are included into the 2012/13 edition.
Why do I have to renew my listing? The International Milling Directory is committed to supplying 100 percent accurate information. In order to keep our promise we require all companies to verify their company contact information once per year, before it is included into the print version.
My listing is free, right?
Yes, a basic listing (with two free subcategories) is completely free of charge. You can also add a company synopsis that will appear on the website. Of course, if you want to increase your exposure within the Directory there are several options available to you and your company to suit any budget (find out more here).
Why should I take the time to do this?
The International Milling Directory is now in it's 21st year, and has truly become a publication for the 21st century. With a verified listing your details will not only be live and available to the thousands of industry users on our website, but also will appear in the printed Directory for 2012/13 - and the first time this year, your company will also appear in our mobile application, making your details available to smart phones and tablet computers everywhere!
Sounds great, what do I need to do now
If you already have a listing with us, you should already have a username (company name) and a password from us. Simply go to www.internationalmilling.com - go to login - find you company in the drop down and enter your password (if you don't know your password, please fill in this form If you are not currently listed - please follow the same proceedure, but choose 'register' instead of 'log in'. This will take you through the process of joining the IMD.

Pneumatic Conveying of Bulk Solids Course
Pneumatic conveying is one of the most commonly used means of transporting bulk solids. Applications range from large scale ship bulk cargo unloaders through to small in-plant systems. The Wolfson Centre has wide experience of different pneumatic conveying systems and the types of problems that can arise as a result of mismatching materials, feeders, pipe designs, or air movers to one another. The presenters have pooled their vast knowledge and experience in dealing with these problems to deliver a 2 day course, twice a year, which will cover operational and design issues associated with such systems.
Day 3 is a practical session (optional) in their laboratory.
For further details on the course, and on-line booking, please visit www.bulksolids.com
