Aviva announces life product changes,

effective October 1, 2012.

Aviva Life and Annuity Company will be making the following changes on its life insurance products, effective October 1, 2012.

• An increase in all NLG premiums on the following products: Advantage Builder IV with the NLG Rider, Guarantee UL Solution III, and Aviva Survivorship Builder with the NLG Rider. The premium increase will range from 10% for most cases to upwards of 25% on single premium cases.
• A reduction in cap rates on indexed strategies, fixed strategies and the Basic Index Strategy on all IUL products. For the 2-Year Pint -to Point strategy, the reduction will be 100 basis points. For all other strategies, it will be 50 basis points.
• A 50 basis points reduction on the crediting rate for Aviva LifeStage UL.
