 Effective June 11, 2012-Term Essential 30 and Term Elite 30 will be repriced.

 

On June 11, 2012 Prudential will revise the pricing on their Term Essential 30 and Term Elite 30 products. While the product features are not changing this repricing will reflect a 3% increase. Note that no changes have been made to the Term Essential and Term Elite 10, 15, and 20 products.

 

Even with the modest rate increase to Term Essential 30-it is still the best 30-year term product available on an Age Last Birthday (ALB) Basis!

  

In addition, Term Essential 10, 15, and 20 still have competitive niches; here's where:

    Term Essential

      10 Year:

  • Top-quartile at issue age 65 and above on an ALB basis.
  • Top-quartile at the Smoker Category at all ages through age 75 on an ALB basis.

      15 Year:

  • Top-quartile at issue age 55 and above on an ALB basis (age 65+ for Females).
  • Top-quartile at both Smoker Categories at all ages through age 65 on an ALB basis

      20 Year:

  • Top-quartile at issue age 55 and above on an ALB basis (age 65+ for Females).
  • Top-quartileat both Smoker Categories at all ages through age 65 on an ALB basis (#1 or #2 at each age) AND on a Same Age Basis.

In addition, Term Essential offers the following valuable benefits:

  • Full convertibility to any of our permanent individual life products.
  • Living Needs Benefit rider available on all Pru term products-Pru is one of the few select companies to offer both the terminal illness and nursing home options! Also, where the rider is available - it can be added after issue for no additional cost.

Term Elite pricing changes mirror the Term Essential changes above.

  

  • Plus, the product continues to offer an attractive conversion credit for your clients looking to "step up" to permanent insurance. If they convert to a permanent policy within five years, a premium credit will be applied to the first year's premium on their permanent policy.
