Under the skin, you'll notice that North American's Indexed Universal Life Insurance (IUL) products are a slice above.

  • Up to 13 Index Selections: Choice of U.S. and international index selections along with daily sweeps to the index account, and no funds required in the fixed account.1
  • Capped Variable Interest Rate Loans: Guaranteed not to exceed 6%.
  • Guaranteed Interest Rate Bonus: Index accounts earn an interest rate bonus to help boost cash value accumulation.
  • Accelerated Death Benefit Features: Allows policyowners to access funds for a chronic or terminal illness, subject to eligibility requirements. 
  • Choice of loans: Variable interest rate loans, standard loans, and net zero cost loans (NZCLs)-NZCLs are available with standard loans in policy year 6 on 100% of the loan value. Plus, clients can move between loan types without cash payoff!

1. Premium allocated to index bucket on trading day (the day the New York Stock Exchange is open for business), upon receipt.
2. Zero cost loans are loans charged and credited at the same percent for a net zero cost.
