Donors Forum of Wisconsin Members Receive National Recognition
Six companies named to list by Corporate Responsibility Officer and Fortune Magazines

MILWAUKEE-The Donors Forum of Wisconsin is pleased to announce the recognition of six members by Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) magazine's ranking for 2008 of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens and Fortune magazine's 100 Most Admired Companies.

Wisconsin Energy Corporation, the Milwaukee based-parent company of We Energies, ranked as one of the top 15 best corporate citizens nationally.  Fortune magazine's Most Admired Companies include Donors Forum members: Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Johnson Controls Inc., Marshall & Ilsley Corporation, Kohl's Corporation and Rockwell Automation Inc.

The Donors Forum of Wisconsin, by establishing, maintaining and encouraging an engaged network of grantmakers across Wisconsin, is excited about the accomplishments of its members.

To produce the lists, CRO evaluates approximately 1,100 publicly held companies in the areas of employee relations, environment, financial performance, governance practices, human rights, lobbying and philanthropy and Fortune surveys businesspeople to vote for the companies that they admire the most.

"We're certainly excited about the recognition from these publications, and we would like to congratulate the members for receiving this honor," said Deborah Fugenschuh, President of the Donors Forum of Wisconsin.

"It's important not only that these companies receive recognition nationally, but that we tell the story of how corporate philanthropists are making a significant different in the lives of each and every Wisconsin resident as well as strengthening Wisconsin's economic competiveness,"  said Fugenschuh.

An estimated $512.7 million was granted from Wisconsin's roughly 1,500 independent, family, community and corporate foundations in 2006. Wisconsin is home to 119 foundations that contributed a total of nearly $90.8 million, representing 17.8% of the total grants paid in Wisconsin in 2006.
