Do you love what you do?  I recently heard a saying that stuck with me....love it or leave it.  I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where I love what I do.  It's a shame to spend so many hours at work doing something you don't like.  I spent many years in school preparing to be a counselor and a researcher.  I did enjoy this, at least initially, but became burned out after only a few years.  I firmly believe that we don't need to work if our work is what we love.  It's just another day where you get to do what you want to do.  What could be better?  If you're not loving in, you have a few choices: (a) Leave it --sometimes easier said than done; (b) Restructure it -- learn about your strengths and redesign your work environment to play to your interests and stregnths and/or (c) Balance your life -- enjoy activities that you love on a daily basis.
