WHICH MARKETING STRATEGIES ARE THE BEST? | |
|
I've met with a lot of business owners that struggle with how to market their business. They often try various types of activities, but they are unsure which ones are best and which ones are most effective. There are 3 key questions you want to ask yourself about how you market your business?
1. What marketing strategies do I enjoy doing?
2. Which marketing strategies provide the best return?
3. What marketing strategies do I need to improve?
It is critical to know which strategies you enjoy. If you enjoy the activity, you are far more likely to be motivated to do this on a consistent basis. How do you know the return on investment for a marketing strategy? You'll want to analyze two components: your time and the cost. Track where you are getting business from and evaluate what each prospect cost you in terms of time and money. Once you know this, you'll be able to make clear decisions on where to focus your energy and dollars in the future. Take a look at what marketing strategies you currently utilize and determine if you could be doing these more effectively. Do you need to be doing these more consisently, is this something you need to delegate? Is there follow up that's being neglected.
