Where to begin? Since my last email I attended the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention in Toronto. I also got to see some amazing tennis at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.
It has been an interesting year so far but to put it in perspective, the first TSX Venture's first close of the year was 1506 and today we're at around 1541. A solid 2% gain. However it was at 1694 at the end of February providing a much tastier 12% gain. Easy come easy go. While this index could certainly go lower, I'm not going to panic just yet.
