Dear Friends,
I hope that all of you are having a wonderful and relaxing summer. If you are around and looking for summer activities to take part in you are welcome to join us for Yoga classes beginning this Monday at 6:30 p.m. in our parish hall. Ruth Frey is offering yoga again this summer on the following Mondays: August 6, 13, 20, 27. Please bring a towel and a mat. We do have mats if you need one. The Wheel of Awesome will be spinning again this Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. on the church lawn. Stop by for conversation, and refreshments. If you are around on a Tuesday night please join us for our meal and pantry program, Volunteers are needed to help distribute groceries, serve meals, and help clean up and set up. We are here from 5-7:30 p.m. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Please keep Karen and Dave Howe, Steve PIke, and Jim Hannah in your prayers as they travel to Xalapa Mexico to visit with our companion diocese of Southeast Mexico. They will be visiting with Fr. Byron and the parishioners of Santa Maria Virgen. The Howe's have already departed and will be joined by Steve and Jim on August 14th. Awesome Yoga
Mondays in August
Yoga teacher and All Saints' parishioner Ruth Frey will teach a (free!) Gentle Yoga class on Monday nights in August. Join your friends and neighbors to stretch, breathe and relax in the All Saints' parish hall during this summer of awesome. Bring a yoga mat and a towel or small blanket. If you don't have a yoga mat, one will be provided. 6:30 to 7:45 pm on August 6, August 13, August 20 and August 27.

All Saints' Book Group
Thursday August 9, 7:15pm
 The All Saints' Book Group will be reading Tunnel Vision by Sara Paretsky for Thursday August 9. We meet at 7:15 pm at one of our book group's houses for wine, food and discussion. RCS Item of the Month: Diapers
Donations Needed
Ravenswood Community Services is receiving more and more requests for diapers sizes 3-6 and the supplies have run out. If you have extra whole packages of diapers or if you would like to purchase them for RCS, please contact Fran here or call 773-769-0282 to schedule a time to drop them off.

Ordination of Ed Bird
Saturday August 25, 4pm
Mark your calendars. All are invited to St. Mary's in Park Ridge to celebrate the ordination of Ed Bird to the priesthood. Bishop Lee will preside, and The Rev. Dr. Ozzie Smith, Jr. will preach. A reception will follow at the church.
