Dear Friends,
This Sunday Brooke Lester will be our "Summer of Awesome" guest preacher. You may remember that Brooke facilitated our discussions on "The Story." Brooke is an Assistant Professor in Hebrew Bible and the Director of Emerging Pedagogies at Garrett- Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston. He studied at Princeton Theological Seminary. We are delighted for this to be Brooke's second year on the elite roster of "Awesome Preachers."
If you are in town on Tuesday evenings please stop by our pantry and meal program from 5-7:30pm. We can always use volunteers to help distribute bags, serve food and help with clean up.
Bonnie is on vacation and will return after Labor Day. If you need anything you may contact Andrew or myself in the office. You may also call me on my cell phone in the event of a pastoral emergency (312-401-2058).

Justice Circle Meeting
Monday @7pm
The Justice Circle's July meeting will be this coming Monday, July 23rd, at 7pm. J.W. Hughes, the Director of Ceasefire in Rogers Park, will be with us to discuss how we might partner and support their work. All are welcome!

All Saints' Book Group
Thursday August 9, 7:15pm
 The All Saints' Book Group will be reading Tunnel Vision by Sara Paretsky for Thursday August 9. We meet at 7:15 pm at one of our book group's houses for wine, food and discussion. RCS Item of the Month: Diapers
Donations Needed
Ravenswood Community Services is receiving more and more requests for diapers sizes 3-6 and the supplies have run out. If you have extra whole packages of diapers or if you would like to purchase them for RCS, please contact Liz hereor call 773-769-0282 to schedule a time to drop them off.
