Update on 2012 Pledging
Many thanks to the 79 (9 new, 70 renewing) individuals/families who have pledged $191, 798 to All Saints' for 2012! And, thank you to the many people who offer countless hours of time and a myriad of gifts to support this amazing community of faith! We're hoping for about 100 more individuals/families to pledge their financial support over the next few weeks.
If you haven't yet made your pledge, click the button below below to do so now.
If you check the box that says "Yes, I'd like to set up a recurring credit/debit payment for my pledge contributions," you can go ahead and set up your recurring donation by clicking here. Everyone who checked this box will receive an email before the beginning of 2012 with the link to set up a recurring donation.
Reminder emails went out yesterday both to the entire All Saints' mailing list (if you already pledged and you received an email yesterday, don't worry, we have received your pledge) and to those who have previously pledged to All Saints' but haven't yet renewed for 2012.
Note: If you already have a recurring donation set up on your credit/debit card and you intend to keep that going in 2012, please DO fill out the pledge form so we know of your intention to continue your support in 2012.
We hope to have all 2012 pledges in by Sunday, December 18 to enable the finance committee and vestry to produce a realistic 2012 budget for review at the Annual Meeting on January 29, 2012.

Celebrate the Holidays with Ravenswood Community Services
The Food Pantry and Community Kitchen here at All Saints'

Every year, Ravenswood Community Services (RCS) hosts a special holiday meal for our neighbors in need. We decorate our parish hall, our chefs to prepare a special meal, and we distribute special grocery bags for our neighbors in need to create a home-cooked holiday meal. Because RCS is a volunteer-run organization, we need your help to host this evening. This year, RCS will host the annual holiday meal on Tuesday, December 13 and we need your help to pack grocery bags, distribute food, serve dinner, and clean up. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Liz at liz@ravenswoodcommunityservices.org or 773-769-0282 by Tuesday, December 6.
Ravenswood Community Services provides hunger and poverty relief, health services, and life skills education in the Ravenswood and Uptown neighborhoods. In 1993, we began handing out bags of groceries to about 20 neighbors through the front doors of All Saints' Chicago. Today, this vibrant non-profit serves hundreds of hungry neighbors each week and implements strategic neighborhood change through our feeding programs and through our partnership with Ravenswood School.

Advent Lessons and Carols
Sunday, December 18 at 4:30pm
No shopping to finish. No presents to wrap. Just our lovely old building dressed up in its Christmas best, Advent readings and beautiful music to help us reflect on the season and its loveliness.
Beer and Carols
Sunday, December 18 at 5:30pm (following Lessons and Carols)
The only thing better than going caroling is going caroling at your neighborhood Irish pub. We'll gather in the back room at O'Shaughnessy's Public House at the corner of Wilson and Ravenswood (fondly known as the church annex), eat food, drink beer (and other equally attractive non-alcoholic beverages) and sing carols....lots of carols. This is arguably the best way to keep warm on a cold winter's night. RSVP via the Facebook event here or email beau@allsaintschicago.org.
