As we begin this week, please enjoy this reminder of the many opportunities for us to strive for justice and peace, refresh our bodies and souls and connect with others over the next few days at All Saints'. Will you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being? I will, with God's help. (Book of Common Prayer, pg. 305) Come to me, all who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30) |

Wheel of Awesome: Summer Salons CHILDCARE AVAILABLE | |
Bring your lawnchair, open mind and heart, and longing to connect deeply with others. Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm (June 29th-August 17th) on the northeast lawn of the church we will join in small groups to discuss spiritual topics of relevance to our lives. Each week we will spin the wheel to see where our discussion will land: "How does social networking impact our spiritual lives?" "Can we unplug and still connect?" "What REALLY counts as sin?" "Is a playful piety an oxymoron?" "What do the Bad Girls of the Bible have to say to us today?"
No Wheel of Fortune experience necessary to participate. No previous lawnchair theology required. No lawnchair required -- bring a blanket. Come, relax, make new friends, and enliven your faith this summer!
Childcare is available. If you want to know more,
