ACM presents the 5th annual Sound of Silent Film Festival featuring newly composed scores performed live to modern silent films.  This year's films include works by renowned directors Martin Scorsese, Gus Van Sant, Japanese anime pioneer Tezuka Osamu and many more!   The event takes place at the Chopin Theater and they have a bar which sells coffee, tea, beer and wine. 

Normal ticket price is $20 but we are offering half price tickets to everyone at All Saints' Church and they can be purchased in advance at www.acmusic.org/node/644 or by mentioning All Saints' Church at the box office.

For the first millennium of the faith, no images of Jesus dead existed in Christian art. Instead, churches filled their spaces with images of the risen Christ who hosted the Eucharist feast of abundant life and paradise in this world. Join Rita Nakashima Brock and Rebecca Parker to explore how early Christian communities understood salvation and shaped themselves as the body of Christ that fed the hungry, healed the sick, and resisted imperial violence and oppression.
