Instead, churches filled their spaces with images of the risen Christ who hosted the Eucharist feast of abundant life and paradise in this world. Join Rita Nakashima Brock and Rebecca Parker to explore how early Christian communities understood salvation and shaped themselves as the body of Christ that fed the hungry, healed the sick, and resisted imperial violence and oppression.
