Taking the stage this year is Emmywho, featuring classic rock and country stripped to its acoustic bones. Ravenswood Elementary parent Anne-Marie Akin fronts this four-member group, which has its roots in Memphis, Jackson, Miss., California and right here in Chicago. No surprise then that the band considers its set list "country-fried rock." You may have heard them at Lilly's Bar, Sylvie's and elsewhere around our fair music city. Now they're bringing their picks to do their part to help raise funds for a public school focused on music and arts integration in the classroom.
