Angels in AmericaAngels In America at PlayMakers

PlayMakers brings Tony Kushner's Angels in America, a two part performance in rotating rep from January 29 to March 6. A true American epic. During the Reagan Presidency, as the first wave of the AIDS tsunami sweeps across the nation, two couples, one gay and the other straight (perhaps), are battered and tossed in the storm. With a parade of characters from Roy Cohn to Ethel Rosenberg, a Hassidic rabbi to a Mormon mother, and a visitation by an angelic messenger, this is a feast for the senses by a visionary playwright.
