Volunteers Needed to Assist with Point In Time Count!

Each year in January, communities across the country conduct Point-in-Time (PIT) Counts of people in their communities who are experiencing homelessness.  The PIT Counts provide useful data for these communities in their efforts to help the homeless and end chronic homelessness.

Volunteers are needed to survey guests at IFC's Community House on Thursday, January 28th, to find out where they slept the previous evening.  Volunteers are needed during both lunch and dinner.  Lunch volunteers need to arrive by 10:45 AM and dinner volunteers by 5:45 PM. The surveys are very simple and brief. The IFC Community House is located at 100 West Rosemary Street in Downtown Chapel Hill.

Spanish speakers especially needed!

If you would like to volunteer please contact Jamie Rohe immediately at jrohe@co.orange.nc.us or 919-245-2496.
