A Time to Draw Close to the Heart of God

Lake Michigan Presbytery is offering a retreat for those who have a desire to draw close to the heart of God and to experience ways that the Spirit Retreat flyer 6-15-2011can help maintain and grow that connectedness.  We will seek to identify those times in our lives when God has drawn near so we can name and claim those as a part of God's mystery within us.  Building on scripture, our own experiences as well as the stories of others, we will listen to ways we can nurture our relationship with God through practices ancient and contemporary that help us keep the journey current and growing.  Our retreat will look at the ways of "being in the world with God" and finding joy in the discovery of God's growing presence within us.   We will also experience worship, prayer, and time alone to reflect on the journey present and future. Click here for more info
