Note from John
Yesterday was Rich Lichti's last day serving on the Presbytery staff, his retirement being effective today! The staff gathered and shared some comfort food, fresh scones and coffee, and some good memories and wishes, as we said good-bye to Rich Lichti! Alas, we shall miss him! He has served us well.
I worshipped with the First Presbyterian Church in Holt on Sunday. They hosted the Presbytery's Middle High Youth Mix over the weekend. The youth led the service. Read my blog about the experience. http://jbestblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/middle-high-youth-mix.html

This week I met with the Albion Session yesterday, meet with the Administration Ministry Team this afternoon, the Interim Pastor Support Group tomorrow at the John Knox Church, and host a Pre-Retirement Seminar: Finishing with Vitality Thursday at First, Lansing. A week in the life...
Grace and Peace,
John |
