Lake Michigan Presbytery Spousters Group

Spousters Wanted!

Spouster (n)-clergy spouse, female or male, interested in fellowship and mutual support with other clergy spouses.

The group has been inactive for several years, but we would like to revive it if there is interest. Past activities included a retreat with spouses at Camp Greenwood and Saturday gatherings during Presbytery meetings, some with outside speakers and some to share our life experiences.

We've been thinking of new ways to be connected including an online group and/or cluster groups.  Through the ministry of the Shepherding Team, Karen Patrick (Lansing) and Donna Garrison (Hastings) are looking for clergy spouse input about who is interested in participating and what setting or format would meet your needs or preferences.

The Covenant Mission Exchange

Do you have a church project or mission that needs donated time, money, or items?
Or maybe you are looking for a project to which you can donate any of these things. Covenant Mission Exchange might be just what you are seeking.

Covenant Mission Exchange (CMX) is now available through the Synod of the Covenant to match project needs with those who are looking to help.

Finding CMX information online is easy. You can use either of the websites mentioned above, or you can find CMX on Facebook.
· If you have a project or mission that needs help, the CMX website will tell you what to do to sign up. Just be sure your Presbytery is aware of the project, as they will be expected to acknowledge it before the project can be listed.
· If you want to donate, look on the CMX website and find one or more projects with which you can help. You will be given information so you and the project can be connected.
Don't forget to tell others about Covenant Mission Exchange, which serves as an invaluable tool that links missions together within the Synod of the Covenant.

Visit www.covenantmissionexchange.org/promo to learn of more ways to promote the exchange including a downloadable bulletin insert!
