When & Where Does Mosaic Meet?

MosaicStLouis.com

Greetings!

I have many dreams for our Mosaic community.

One of them is that we would gain a reputation for being a voice of hope in St. Louis.

"Are you jacked up?"
"Life a mess?"
"Don't have a chance?"
"Nobody believes in you?"

I dream that one day people outside our community might have conversations with broken people that sound like this, "You've got to go connect with Mosaic.  Those people are not realists.  They're optimists.  They're insane-ists.  They believe that . . . read more here

Life Change
Jessica hot tub baptism
We've had two baptisms this summer!  One was a young lady from Mosaic West and the other is a college student who has been a part of our downtown gatherings for a long time.  We did both baptisms in a hot tub on the deck of one of our "Mosaic-ers"!  By the way, to answer your question, yes, we did turn down the heat!

Seeing people make significant changes like exiting out of addictions, embracing positive decisions and learning to steward their lives to honor God is awesome.

Not all of the life change has been turning from darkness to light though.  We're also excited to see people take leadership steps as our people are serving in ways to draw others into ministry.

Once again I find myself thanking God for a chance to have a front row seat to see what  He's doing and I'm even more thankful that He let's me get in there and help sometimes.
Mission: Mosaic--a story of blessing

We've been "crazy blessed" this summer.  Let me tell you about one of them.

It all started when one of the guys on our Management Team, Karl Schad, from Gateway Christian Church visited the facility where Mosaic West meets.

Gateway had a mission trip to Mexico planned for this summer, but it had been cancelled.

As Karl looked around our facility, which is a former bar, he asked if it would be okay for Gateway's Mexico team to come out the week they'd originally planned to be in Mexico to renovate the Mosaic West facility.

It took me about 0.0 seconds to respond with an emphatic, "YES!"

They came out, partnered with our people and organized, funded and led an amazing work week.  The bar came out, the nasty carpet and tile came out and the place was painted.  We even got a few new lighting fixtures.  You can see a quick video and some of the pics on our website.

It was a great week.  We were encouraged.  It was cool to be the recipients of such love and generosity.
