YMCA Gymnasts Qualify for National Competition

On April 18-20, athletes from YMCA SportsWorld's Competitive Gymnastics Team traveled to Huntsville, AL to participate in the Regional Competition for Levels 9 and 10.  In order to attend this competition, the athletes had to first qualify at the state level.  SportsWorld had 5 athletes that qualified: ...

Kay Furman has been volunteering for the YMCA READS! Program at JD Parker for the last two years. She is the type of volunteer who jumps right in and helps and the children adore her. Often Kay brings the children snacks and juice boxes as well as interesting stories from her traveling adventures. We want Kay to know how much we appreciate her work with our kids. Thanks Kay!

How will your child answer the question?
 

In late August or early September, friends, family and teachers will ask kids, "so what did you do on your summer vacation". For some 1300 young people (ages 3 - 12) on the Treasure Coast, they will answer, "I went to YMCA summer Camp". For 10 weeks this summer, our YMCA will have 10 different types of camping programs
