The girls' varsity lacrosse team finished the season yesterday, falling to Wheeler in the SENE semi finals.  Great season, ladies! 

The boys' varsity lacrosse team will defend its title in the SENE championship game tomorrow at 4:00 at Hyde.  Let's go Mariners!

The Bulletin Corrections 
Every effort was made to ensure the accuracy of The Bulletin, however the following is a list of corrections.  Kayla DiSegna '14 was improperly identified on page 9.  Missing from the accolades on page 16, Sabrina Dumas '16 and Anessa Petteruti '17 also became eligible for CTY by scoring at or above the 95 percentile on a nationally normed test.  Eric Bromberg '95 was incorrectly identified as his brother, Jared '98, in Class News on page 27.


Upper School

Abby Wood's Freshmen Studies classes spent some time at the shoreline seining for animals as part of the environmental stewardship part of the course.    

Relay for Life 

Students will participate in the Relay for Life at Gaudet Middle School in Middletown tomorrow.  The School has been participating in this 18-hour event since 2006.  Relay for Life is an overnight event that mobilizes communities to join together in a common goal.  Contact Maureen Fahey for information.   

Final Exams
US final exams begin Friday, June 1.   

Middle School

Math-A-Thon
Sixth-graders Georgia Saville, Charlotte Roch, Katlyn Conforti, Olivia De Pasquale, Alec O'del, Noah Jackson and Thomas Ricci from Ms. Conroy's math class raised $1132.00 for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The seven students worked hard over break to practice math problems and collect money for each completed problem.

This two-day experience will include canoeing on the Potowomut River with two stops where students take part in teacher-led field groups and science-based learning activities, small group dynamic challenges, and some interpersonal reflecting at how they fit into their world.  Fifth graders will camp overnight on campus Thursday evening.  The second day involves a trip to Big River Watershed area to do more science-based activities.

Athletes of the Week
Tennis player Nick Parker '12, girls' lacrosse player Katherine Meringolo '12 and golfer Lauren Gertz '12 have been chosen as athletes of the week for their outstanding performances. 


Boys' Varsity Lacrosse Advances
The boys' varsity lacrosse team beat Williams 11-9 in the SENE semi finals yesterday. They advance to the championship game TOMORROW at 4:00 at Hyde School.

Faculty/Student Golf Match
The annual golf team vs. faculty golf match took place this week at Potowomut Country Club.  The students ultimately tied the match 2-2.

Sail On
After defeating Portsmouth 3-1 Tuesday, the varsity sailing team is ranked No. 4 out of 13 in the Major Independents - RI Group of the NESSA.

Volunteers Needed

Stingrays Soccer Camp

The Stingrays soccer camps, directed by Mario Pereira, unleash the creativity in each player while building self-esteem and confidence. A camper/ instructor ratio of 1:10 ensures individual attention. The players from the Rhode Island Stingrays will be the instructors at the camp, providing ideal role models for all young players to identify with and an opportunity to meet and work with the top soccer players in New England.
