Flik Independent School Dining made its long-awaited debut at Rocky Hill last week.  The food tastes as good as it looks.  We are thrilled to be encouraging the whole community to make healthy decisions and want to thank everyone who helped made this initiative a reality.  More photos

Parent Participation Challenge
Over the last two years, the School issued a challenge to parents to reach 75% participation in the Annual Fund. Each year, parents have met the challenge and we are hoping for a repeat performance! Participation at any level makes an impact and helps the School as we solicit support from foundations and corporations. Currently parent participation is at 48% and we send our congratulations and thanks to the seventh grade who is our first class to surpass the 75% goal. Click here to see more class results.

Thank you if you have already made a contribution, and if you have not, but would like to participate, you can make a gift online or mail a check with Annual Fund noted in the memo line. Gifts can be made in installments and can be in honor of a special teacher or student as well. Please contact Beth DeGerlia (ext. 129) in the Development Office if you have any questions.
Upper School

Rocky Hill's Math Team, currently ranked No. 3 in the state, will compete in the state playoffs next Wednesday, April 11.

On Saturday, March 30, the Certamen Team traveled to Harvard University for Harvard's Annual Certamen Invitational.  Schools from all over the country competed, and while the competition was stiff, the freshman team of Shane Woolley, Amanda Siegel, Brady Dill, and Raymond Mancini accumulated 205 points and just missed breaking into the elimination rounds. Seventh-graders Jamie Frost, Megan Caruso, and Jackson Hawkins were along for this trip, a great sign for the future of the team!  We would also like to recognize the three seniors who have been stalwarts on the team for four years: Maria Charbonneau, Ford Kelly-Riley, and Steven Petteruti.  It has been a great year of competition, and the team is well-positioned for success next year.
