A Little Goes A Long Way
Box Tops for Education has earned $193.60 so far. It is amazing what collecting all those $0.10 cent pieces can add up to! Collection boxes are located in Perkins, Hale, Flynn and Hopelands. Thank you to all who have participated.

2012 US/MS Musical
The full rehearsal schedule for Rocky Hill's production of The Music Man is on a dedicated calendar located here.  Any updates/changes will be reflected there, emailed directly to musical parents and communicated via Twitter and Facebook. Performer contracts are due TODAY.

Senior Seminar 2012 gets underway next week.  This year's topic is Exciting Business - The Role for Young Entrepreneurs.
Speakers include:

  • Valerie Mosley Diamond, SVP of Wellington Management Company
  • Dan Gorriaran, President and CEO of Hook-Fast Specialties & Bill Prichett, President and Founder of Lumetta Inc.
  • David Corvese, Andy Curtis, Richard Meringolo, Wayne Nemeth (two entrepreneurs and two venture capitalists)   

Richard Ryan, a dynamic substance abuse educator, will work with US students Monday through Thursday next week.  

   

Gary Jobson of Sailing World named Bradley Adam '13 to the 2012 Jobson Junior All-Star sailing team. Jobson compared the performances of more than 300 junior sailors and chose the top seven. Bradley's 2011 highlights include winning the New Bedford Regatta against 87 boats, the Falmouth Regatta (64 boats), and Marblehead Junior Race Week (57 boats).  Read more here.

Tyler DiMicco '06 is the director of marketing for Oasis Health in Beijing. They have a number of clinics in the area and are opening an international hospital there in January.  He led a tour/visit by the UK Under Secretary of Public Health about a month ago.
