First Grade students had an amazing trip to the Roger Williams Park Zoo.  Besides having fun watching the animals being bathed and fed, they gathered information for their animal families research project.

Healthy Haunted House

The K-5 LS students enjoyed themselves last Friday at the "Healthy Haunted House" in Sharpe Gymnasium. The entire gym and lobby was transformed with seasonal decorations, lighting and music. The event comprises nine different physical activity stations all with a Halloween theme. This year the 5th Grade helped decorate the gymnasium during their PE class. They also chaperoned Kindergarteners while the 6th Grade manned the stations.  Both grades did an exceptional job providing leadership and safety for the younger students in their charge.

The setup, breakdown and coverage of the event were a breeze with the much-appreciated help of several parents who volunteered Thursday and Friday.
