Vergil Vigil
On October 15, 70 B.C., the most famous Roman poet, Publius Virgilius Maro, known to us as Vergil, was born. Every year, Rocky Hill students celebrate his birthday by gathering for a reading of a portion of Vergil's epic poem, Aeneid, alongside a bonfire on the Rocky Hill beach. This year, both MS and US students enjoyed a recitation by Mr. Matt Gnolfo, and fine Roman cuisine provided by Domino's Pizza.
