ACA certification, recently introduced by Adobe, validates entry-level skills needed to plan, design, build, and maintain effective communications by using different forms of digital media. Adobe offers three areas in which you can gain certification for entry-level skills. These are:

knowledge to work with worksheets and workbooks to analyze data using a variety of features to create, modify and format common business reports such as budgets, inventory reports, invoices, and charts.
- Jan 12: Excel 2007 Intermediate - 1 Day hands-on course teaches students to use intermediate to advanced functions to manage and audit numerical reports, work with various functions to perform specific types of calculations, customize charts, work with pictures or shapes in a worksheet, customize formatting for specific types of data, and look at various features for managing different types of lists using a table or database format.
- Jan 13: Excel 2007 Advanced - 1 Day hands-on course teaches students how to
use the advanced features of Excel to work with different types of reports, use at various productivity tools to increase data entry, features to enable collaboration with others, and use various commands to analyze large numerical reports. use advanced features to work with different types of reports.
- Jan 16: Computer Basic & Window Vista (4 Sat) - Hands-on course
provides student the knowledge and skills required to identify different types of computers, the components of a personal computer including microprocessors, motherboard, flash drive, hard disk, Memory, Keyboard, mouse, understanding networking, managing files and folders and setting up home office.

Tip of the Day: Secure Wi-Fi Connection |
The Wi-Fi Zones, also known as hot spot, are available in areas such as hotels, airports, coffee shops and other public areas. A Wi-Fi Zones, provide a user a convenient way of accessing Internet using a wireless equipped devices. However, if proper precautions are not taken to secure your data, wireless networks can be more insecure than the wired network. Following are some guidelines for protecting your data when entering a Wi-Fi zone:
- Install firewall software on your computer to prevent unauthorized accessing of data from your computer.
- Install and regularly update your anti-virus and anti-spyware software on your computer to prevent downloading virus vie email or through Internet.
- Regularly update your operating system with the "security" updates released by the software vendor.
- Disable file sharing.
- Use strong system login password.
- Make financial transactions using Credit Card to a secure website only.
- When not using your computer, disable the wireless adapter attached to your computer.
