Group and individual photos will be taken during classes the week of Thursday, May 10-Wednesday, May 16.
A copy of the price sheet with package information is posted on our website.  Order forms will be passed out the day of pictures. 
 
Don't forget your costume & tights!  And be sure to check that you have the correct color & type of shoes too.  You can check that info on the Costume Preview.
Recital 2012 Recital 2012 - 
        Sunday, June 10th 

     Our 17th annual recital will be held Sunday, June 10th in the Mason High School auditorium.  Show times are 1:00, 4:00 and 7:00 pm.  Each show will run just over 90 min.  The list of what class is in which show is in the 2012 Costume Previews on our website. We do our best to keep families in just one show but with so many students and classes it just is not always possible to work that out for everyone.  Team, Company and P/P ballet classes will be in multiple shows.  We have times for Dress Rehearsal posted on the website as well.  Saturday, June 9th will be our Dress Rehearsal.   P/P Ballet only will also have a Tech Rehearsal on Friday, June 8th.  Rehearsals June 8-9 are at Mason High School.
The 2012 Costume Preview has song titles and required shoes listed.  Tights were included in the bag with most costumes again this year.  If you'd like to have a spare pair just in case, you can purchase them in the office.  You will also need to have the correct shoes for Picture Week.  Group & individual pictures will be taken during class Thursday, May 10th through Wednesday, May 16th.  No photo purchase is required but we do want everyone included in the group photos.  These class photos will go into the souvenir recital program booklet. 
Recital tickets will be available for purchase later in May.   You will receive 2 comp tickets from your family recital participation fee at that time as well.  Your recital fee was included in your fees for the year.

Recital T-Shirts & Flowers

MDCPA is once again be selling the Recital T-shirts and Recital floral bouquets as a fundraiser for the Team Dancers. T-shirts are available in child and adult sizes, and feature the full "cast" listing on the back of the shirt. The design is shown in the article above.  Size samples are available at the studio. Cost is $16.
Spring floral bouquets are being hand-assembled for the MDCPA by the staff at Oberer's Flowers in West Chester and will feature an array of fresh, seasonal blooms for $14. The flowers will be available for pick-up in the high school lobby on the day of Recital and should be ordered in advance to insure availability.
Parent's Association members will be at the studio during "picture week" to take orders and answer questions. Order forms and payments may also be dropped in the PA box in MDC's lobby or mailed to the chairperson listed on the order form.

Summer Classes summer
    Our summer schedule is now on our website. This summer we will be offering a six week session that runs in July 10-August 16. The classes meet once a week.  Summer is a great time to sample something new or just keep active with what you love!  We will begin accepting summer registrations on May 10th.  
Our summer schedule includes 3 adult classes too- ballet, tap & hip-hop.  Moms/Dads, give it a try!  Adult classes are pay as you go or you can purchase a class card and save $.

 Our dancers have done well at their competitions this spring. Great job, Ladies!  We went to International Dance Challenge competition held at the Dayton Convention Center in March.  Our Diamond groups went to Memorial Auditorium in Louisville for a competition in April.  All our girls also competed at Mason HS this past weekend with Encore Talent Productions.  After recital our Company dancers will be preparing for StageOne Nationals in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.   

If you'd like more information about our program you can read about it on our website.  Updated information for next season will be posted soon along with complete audition details for the 2012-13 season.  Dancers need to be entering 4th grade or above to audition.
