Peace be with you.

The message that the Risen Christ gave to his disciples was a message of peace and this message is one that he continues to have for us today.  In our Gospel reading for this Sunday the first words out of Jesus' mouth when he came to his disciples were "Peace be with you."

As our CSS community is approaching the end of a semester, certainly this message of peace is one that all of us can appreciate.  While the disciples were troubled and had questions for which they struggled to find answers Jesus was present to them.  He offered them peace and responded to their needs.

As another semester comes to an end, let us remember that it is Jesus who comes to us and offers us peace.  Peace be with you.
